Hello Deer Hunters!!!!!
Deer Gutting. Many people refer to this process as field dressing a deer, deer dressing, or even deer out! I have created an instructional video clearly showing how to gut a deer from the moment it is shot to the time it is home and in the freezer. I have hunted for 30+ Years and and have constantly been surprised to find lots of hunters that don’t know how to clean a kill. The purpose or end result of hunting is to put meat on the table.
The kill can be an exciting and nerve racking time (buck fever). This excitement can make the most veteran hunter do stupid things. Experience has taught me to approach the deer to about 15 feet, wait to make sure it is dead(watch for movement of the chest)(breathing), if it moves shoot the head of the deer to be sure it is dead. (I will explain in the stories of my experience with the video and in follow up in this blog. These stories will be attached at a later time).
Once the deer is dead you need to do the following steps:
2. Cut off the scent glands————-
3. Start the cut at the bottom of the stomach and follow the steps shown in the clear quality instructional video. ————-
This video includes interior shots of organ locations and how to cut to remove the organs and stomache.
folowing this process has given myself years of good hunting experience and excelent venisin for the table.
If you want the full length video of myself as Redneck Leroy I will be glad to guide you thru the entire process. The video is $10.00 and is down loadable upon receipt of payment.
Well that will get you out of the woods and headed home with the prize.
Now if you want the entire process we also are developing an entire series including skinning, butchering, packaging, and recipies for cooking the venisin. these will be available soon for purchace.
please check back or leave an e-mail we will respond promptly and be glad to answer all the questions that we can. With 30+ years of hunting i have had a fair ammount of experience in the woods and handeling deer. I enjoy teaching my son and daughter how to hunt, clean and cook the game we get in the field and i will be glad to share that experience with you and your children. The videos I am producing are made to help all ages learn and have fun while hunting.
